Wow! It’s the second time that I feel like I’m writing the post myself. I agree with most of what you said and what you feel. I drink, when I go to a bar, but never EVER to the point of getting drunk, it would be such a shame for me. But here I get the opposite reaction on people, it’s almost something to be proud of or brag about when they get drunk, and it’s also becoming such a bonding thing to drink and get drunk together. So that excludes me a little.

Anyway, I felt the need to express myself a little bit on the subject, eheh.

Keep writing, I love reading your stuff!

Congrats to your Dad for raising such a great feminist daughter! I, too have a great father, now 82, who is also a great role model!

I’ve been following your Facebook page, Guerrilla Feminism, ever since I started Rock The Slut Vote in late March 2012. We have 3600 plus followers in the last 7 weeks, and we too are working hard to make a difference in the war on women’s rights!
