For the umpteenth time, I'm being harassed on Facebook. This is just sort of par for the course if you're a feminist and online. Fuck that.

A guy I banned from GF created this lovely image:

Dude used a good picture of me, so that's cool :)

I don't feel like I need to explain myself or GF. I do want to say this, however: GF is a page I created. It is a labor of love. Myself (and the other mods) spend a lot of our free time working on it. And because it is my creation, I get to decide who should and shouldn't be part of it. The page is an intersectional feminist page. We are against misogyny, sexism, racism, classism, ableism, homophobia, transphobia, biphobia, etc. If you can't "get with this", then please leave.

I'm so tired of people citing "BUT FREE SPEECH!" whenever I ban or warn someone. Look, GF ain't the fucking government. We're not even a registered nonprofit. We are a small group behind the scenes with a big following.  If you don't like how we run things, I urge you to create your own page. I urge you to find your own voice. I urge you to worry about yourself.

GF is a space for commenters who are supportive of feminist intersectionality, and who have intelligent, thoughtful things to add to the discussion. We have a "Comment Policy" that all should read before posting. If you can't abide by the small amount of guidelines we have, then I'm afraid you're shit out of luck.

I will not be bullied. I will not be intimidated. I will not leave.
